The HPE Networking Instant On Switch 20p Gigabit CL4 4p SR2.5G CL6 PoE 4p SFP+ 370W 1940 (S4A32A) is a 24-port smart-managed Layer 2+ switch with a split access layer: four Smart Rate ports at 100M/1G/2.5G carrying Class 6 PoE, and twenty gigabit ports carrying Class 4 PoE, within a shared 370 W budget.

That split is designed around modern wireless. A Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 7 access point can saturate a gigabit uplink and draw more than 30 W, so the four 2.5G Class 6 ports take the access points at up to 60 W each, while the twenty gigabit Class 4 ports serve cameras, phones and desks. It removes the need for a separate multi-gig switch alongside a PoE switch.

Switching capacity is 140 Gbps with 104 Mpps forwarding, and 2.5G latency is rated under 5.4 µs. Four SFP+ uplinks run at 1G or 10G. At full traffic with full PoE it draws 453.0 W across two fixed fans rated at 3.4 Bel.
