No. Lizora Infotech is a networking hardware supplier, not an HPE authorised distributor, reseller or service centre. We supply HPE Networking Instant On equipment to the Indian trade; warranty and support are provided by HPE under its own terms.
What is the difference between HPE Networking Enterprise and Instant On?
Enterprise covers HPE's campus, branch and data-centre switching and wireless portfolio. Instant On is a separate family aimed at small businesses and enterprise edge sites, managed from a cloud portal and mobile app with no licensing or subscription fees. The Series 1840 belongs to Instant On.
About the Instant On familyDo Instant On switches need a licence or subscription?
No. HPE states that all features are included in the price of the hardware, with no recurring subscription or licensing fees. Expert-level support and the limited lifetime warranty are included, along with chat support for the life of the product.
How much PoE power do the Series 1840 switches provide?
PoE budgets are 65 W on the 8-port S5E26A, 124 W on the 8-port S5E27A, 195 W on the 24-port S5E29A and 370 W on the 48-port S5E31A. All PoE models deliver up to 30 W per port for Class 4 (IEEE 802.3at) devices.
